New boss down!
Valithria Dreamwalker down!!
Erm.. or should I say UP!! (with everybody else down apart from a paladin ...). Not our cleanest kill, since I guess we got a bit excited at around 95% and lost focus, but still a kill.
Good stuff hippies, P.P. is next on the list, we have seen P3, just need to get there a bit more controlled...
On the 10man front, we killed Sindragosa, and went to see how the Lich king was. Needless to say, he was very rude wiping the floor with us all night... We got some progress done, and managed to get through P1 cleanly. Now all we need is clean transitions...
25man *pwnage* !!!
Since the last update we have had some good progress in 25man ICC.
We have killed 7 out of 12 bosses, still missing Blood Queen, and from Valithria Dreamwalker onward. Our last new kill was the Blood Prince Council, on which we got the "Orb-Wisperer" achievement as well! And all that on our first day of attempting the encounter!
On the 10mans we have killed 10 out of 12, and attempting Sindragosa (who is almost down) and Lich King very soon.
Naturally we have already killed the new VoA boss both in 10 and 25man.
Stay tuned for more Hippie updates...
10 Man *pwnage* !!!
We managed to kill everything available in 10man ICC, always in our "hippy" style.
Blood Prince Council went down smoothly after the ranged tank (moi) sorted himself out, we even got the "Orb whisperer" achievement!!
Blood Queen was a lot of fun, especially when Itzamna got Bitten by Grif and died straight away!! Tool bars disappearing, Bartender messing up, we must have had every problem there is in the book on this one! Nevertheless we got her down smoothly late in the night, with only 5 attempts.
On other news, we payed our friend Algalon a visit. We haven't really been there since ICC went live, so we had some people new to the encounter. after 8 tries, and 17 minutes remaining on the timer he was sleeping with the fishes, and we had some Starcaller hippies!!!
Great Job all, keep it up.
I.C.C. Progression
We haven't updated the front page for a long time now - unfortunately time has been a commodity as of late.
So let us see what the hippies have been doing since the launch of ICC. On 25man raids we have killed everything on the first wing (which has been on farm for some time now), and we are currently working on the second wing. We have already killed Festergut, and we now turn our focus to his twin Rotface. Had some good tries at him (15% wipes) so he should be down soon.
As far as 10man raids are concerned we have killed everything up to and including Putricide, and we start working on Council.
Stay tuned for more news!
Recruiting wise we are looking for 1-2 warlocks to join our raid squad, check the forum for details on how to apply.
Recruitment open!!
Treehugging hippies have opened up recruitment.
In light of the Christmas season closing in, and the inevitable breaks that will follow, Treehugging Hippies will be recruiting classes to ensure that our raiding experience remain intact.
Read the Recruitment forum threads for more info on how to apply.
Join us in the way of the Hippie!
Updates-Updates-Updates !!!
We have been doing quite a lot of raiding as of late, focusing on all kinds of goals. First we had a team of players focusing on Ulduar 10 Hard modes. That went smoothly! In 2 and a half raid nights all Hard modes were attempted, and done, so we got some Rusty drakes for some of our members. Next goal in U10 Is Algalon!

Furthermore we are progressing in Trial of the Grand Crusader 10man. So far we have cleared everything up to and including Twins (which were one shotted by the way), and we are working on Anub. He is noticeably more difficult, but he will go down soon.
Last, but not least, we pulled our act together and killed Yogg-Saron in 25man, after slacking for ever on that! I guess people preferred the "new place" after ToC was released, resulting in us leaving some unfinished business. And on top of everything it was a one shot too! I won't bore you with details of how many (hehe) people we got in the portals, and about slacky Raid leaders though... Next is Yogg+3 and a new mace for Rakos!!

Also we are trying to get some progress done in Trial of the Grand Crusader 25man. Our attempts on the beasts were foiled by Gormok thus far. Our nemesis was back in the form of flame patches and laggy instance servers, so he won the first round. Round 2 is about to begin. Stay tuned!!!
We have been busy!
Since the release of Crusader's Coliseum we have been very very busy, as I have mentioned on a previous post. We managed to clear Normal mode (both in 25 and 10man) and we are starting to focus on the Heroic versions. Thus far we have killed N.Beasts on 10, and had some good attempts on Lord Jaraxxus, which were foiled by Blizzard not despawning the big ass yeti from the middle of the room, making spotting of portals and volcano's nearly impossible. So he wiped the floor with us... a lot! We will get him next time, we hippies don’t forget, nor forgive stuff like that!!! On another note, we are still recruiting classes that we are short of. If you are interested in joining a hippie style of raiding, then you should check out the recruitment threads on the forum.
Coliseum Hippies!
The hippies have been working silently the past few weeks, progressing deeper and deeper in Crusader’s Coliseum. We were successful, and able to kill all the new bosses so far. Only 1 of them gave us a bit of a headache at start, but Faction champions can be a bit of a nuisance if you don’t like PvP. Personally I love a fight where aggro is not an issue . Our latest achievement, Twin Val'kyrs went down without even breaking a sweat (2 attempts-kill). Well at least most didn’t, since the extra pressure of not making a mistake when calling out the appropriate color on TS made me sweat a fair bit. Thanks to all the hippies for pulling together and making those kills possible. Time to wait for next week’s boss and see if he will be providing a challenge.
Northrend beasts - More like hippie BBQ
We haven’t updated the front page for awhile now... Main reason being that the summer has hit most of the hippies hard (me included). That doesn’t mean that we have given up or anything. Just taking a step back, and regrouping so we can face the new challenges that await us! Grand proof of the above is that we managed to BBQ the first boss of the new “Trial of the Crusader” instance (25man of course) with a minimum amount of tries. The potential is there, it has always been there, but like every year, summer time is a bit of a party killer raid wise :D. We are longing for September rain I guess…
On another note we are looking for some new players to join our ranks, and have fun raiding with us while we progress deeper in the game. More information can be found on our Forums.
